This printable has my heart and soul.

Hi Reader,

I was so lucky to grow up having a best friend with Down Syndrome. Cinnamon brought so much joy to my life that I greatly want my children to have that too.

I'm thrilled to share this month's Teach Me How resource, "Be a Bridge Builder: Learning How to Connect With and Include Children with Disabilities."

This printable teaches children to have an inclusive mindset, helping them learn what to do and say to make connections and be friends.

The goal is to teach children that we are more the SAME than we are different. And inspire in them a great capacity to be bridge builders!

Your family will learn and practice through engaging and interactive activities:

  • How to connect with children who have disabilities: finding things you have in common
  • That we are all the same on the inside, no matter what we look like on the outside
  • The names of amazing tools used by people with disabilities

This collaboration with Rosalie Mastaler, an author and advocate for diversity inclusion. I know your family will learn so much together and lives will be blessed!

It’s my new summer goal! I asked my community what they would do to create a 90's summer for their kiddos, and I was blown away by everyone's responses! Here is the list FREE for you to download too. Hi Reader, Have you heard about the The Mom Store? It's a simple system that helps your child learn to LOVE reading. And keeps them in books for a long time. Start Your Own "Mom Store" TODAY! Here's how it works: Children are given 1 ticket for every 10 pages they read (books should be on their reading level). They can use these tickets to "purchase" items from The Mom Store. This includes things like snacks, stuffies to rent and blankets to read with, etc. Or, they can save their tickets to...
